Divergent thinking the victim of Standardized Education

This video opened my mind in many ways, for instance I always thought that something was wrong on the educational system, since not all learn in the same way and at the same time. Our educational system is outdated, and the system in which our society is developed as well, everything points in job competition, who is qualified to bear this struggle.Who has more power, more money, or better status?

I can not figure out how many brilliant minds have been lost by this system: poorly planned, under standards that respond to the demands of the last century and under the consumerism System.

Now we appear to be transitioning toward another economic model. As  many politicians said : "We need to educate our children for the global economy."he global economy is a slave economy. It has little use for anyone who can think, reason or feel. Our economy has stalled because adults do not have enough imagination to visualize new ways way to solve old problems as the video said.

We've been taught to believe that time spent in the school, hearing arbitrary information into our brains and taking  tests constitutes learning, but it is not.
I think children need resources which helps to grow theirs enthusiasm,  spirit,  questions, and only then  theyf will be happy adults in the future. It caught my attention divergent or lateral thinking,t his kind of thinking can give multiple solutions to the same problem. Our system do not help develop, and  it is a big problem, because in that time when it was created, to the great leaders felt that it was not convenient for them.We really need a change! and very deep!

BBC NEWS

In this blog I am going to help you to understand the different types of sentences in English, as you might know there are four types. Here I typied  a beautiful piece of news that I read from bbc page. Each colour represent a type of sentences. Complex sentences, compound sentences and Simple sentences
Dear Santa: Son discovers mother's 100-year-old Christmas letter
The ghost of Christmas 100 years past arrived early for a County Down man when he discovered the Santa letter his late mother wrote when she was a girl.

The scorched letter, dated Christmas Eve 1911, had been up a chimney in a Dublin house for decades.
Victor Bartlem's mother, Hannah Howard, had written her Christmas wish list when she was 10 years old.
It was first discovered in 1992 when the current house owner John Byrne installed central heating.
He came upon Hannah's letter in the chimney and decided to keep it as a memento of times past.
He made it public this week in the Irish time and it was there that Victor - living more than 100 miles away, read about it.
He was sitting at home when his wife read from the newspaper about the little girl from Oaklands Terrace, Terenure who put her letter up a chimney. It was then that he realised that she was his mother.
"I simply couldn't believe it. I never knew about this letter. I never even knew it existed," Mr Bartlem said.
Mr Bartlem said he was overwhelmed at people's response to the letter
"I could not believe it, it was absolutely amazing and it is such a sweet, typical child's letter."
Mr Bartlem said he was overwhelmed at people's response to the letter.
"It is in the spirit of the time we are in at the moment which is Christmas," he said.
On her Christmas list, Hannah wrote: "I want a baby doll and a waterproof with a hood and a pair of gloves and a toffee apple and a gold penny and a silver sixpence and a long toffee."
Hannah was born on Christmas Day 1900. Mr Bartlem said his mother attended the Zion Church of Ireland in Raphoe and married Alfred Bartlem in 1931.
She had two sons, Howard and Victor. She died in 1978.

If You Won The Lottery, You Would...

We have all had the dream where the bouncing white balls in the glass line up perfectly or the numbers we picked magically materialize in the exact order we predicted to set us up for life. Millions of pesos are coming our way, and we don't have to worry about anything anymore.
We have won the lotto. Ahhh...the life that would await us...
While the lottery is a nice fantasy, it is much more likely you will wind up in a position that pays you tons of money for working hard instead of getting lucky. And that is something I have been thinking about a lot lately. What would I do if I won or was making millions of pesos a year? I have talked to friends about this and usually the answer is the same:
I would study for the few years that left me to finish the University  and then retire to an island somewhere!
Here is why: whatever motivation drives you to work hard enough to make it to isn't just going to disappear after you have "made it."
So What Would You Do?
I love imagining these kinds of scenarios and trying to picture what I would do. Last year, I imagined what I would do if I had all the money in the world and how my life would change. Here is the weird thing about that little exercise, though: I figured out that most of the things I would do or change were things that had nothing to do with money.
They were things I could do in my life right now.
I didn't want to buy a new car or move into a mansion. The things I wanted to do were more about personal fulfillment, although I did want to buy an apartment for my parents and travel . But most of it was about  my studies and some other things I could actually control.
And I asked myself, "Why don't you do them then?"
It was quite the moment for me because I was surprised that money had nothing to do with the things I would do if I had tons of money. Does that make sense?
Granted, once you have a couple million of pesos in the bank, things change...but I think it is still a worthwhile exercise to picture yourself in that position to see what you would do. Eventhough the probability is very low, I would never  quit my job and stop studying but  I would move to a different apartment or house.

Unconfessed pleasures

We live in a world of overconsumption and it seems that the more money is spent, we will be happier. But often it should be remembered that the greatest pleasures that gives us life are free, or at least cost very little money, here I`m going to confess some small pleasures that I really enjoy, which they can do to forget our unhappiness.

-The old songs that  reappear and take us back to the great moments of our lives.
-Walk down the street in those days when we just feel attractive.
-Laughing until we leave tears.
-A scent that transports us to a great moment or memorable.

-Opening a box of chocolates, before bed.
-Feel the hug from one of our friends.
-Observe quietly blossoming of spring, especially the plum, cherry, almond and acacia trees.
-Feel the warm sun on your face after a very cold winter.
-Stay  full day with pajamas and read a good book.
-Press and blow bubbles in the polythene bags used for packaging.
-Napping in the garden, while listening to the whisper of a conversation.
-Walking barefoot through the grass or seashore.
-Winning a prize in a raffle.
-The call from a friend with patience in the when we feel blue
- Crossed with a handsome man who does not know and unexpected, look at you and smiles.

Seeing your ex-boyfriend, ugly, fat, while you feel beautiful.

-Dancing in the mirror without anyone seeing us.

-Dunking a piece of fresh marraqueta in juice left of tomato salad.
- Taking a long bath and then moisturize your skin immediately and fall sleep.

-Finding money on the street and keep it.

-Test all perfumes, and not feel obligated to buy anything.
- Eat without any guilt lots of unhealthy food.

If we think as we live in the world today , if we stopped and we wonder .Where do we go?  It will be the rhythm of life that I`m doing? I think more than once we have done this question. Read these three mini stories made me think much as the focus on ourselves we don`t see the whole picture of the life.
People around us day by day and problems of their own and sadness, as in the case of the teenager girl  absorbed by the book Thucydides, so much so that she felt  guilty about  not reading and don`t do any translation, that finished on a series of events, losing classes and discovering the infidelity of her father, losing the admiration for him, and to understand that also make mistakes as any human being.
This must have been hard for a teenager, but even she, who had his own problems, finding that kind of person is , and selfishness own any of us had at that age. Communication is something that is lost every day, is something that happens in all households even more now with social networking whole families connected by this media (in my case, I with my sister who recently moved to Santiago or my mother who I don`t see in all  the day.) In fact, the lack of communication is an ongoing problem, modern, equally affecting the family, work, interpersonal relations and in the storie  the German boy , we see the narrator's lack of communication with his wife, trying toavoid reality, focusing on other things, it leaves and then what really matters, preferring to think in other things or to give full attention to others, such as the girl submerged in the thick book, and avoiding school. In the case of the man and his dog Lucky  the lack of communication he had with his boss, because he does not tell him that he felt accompanied with Dingo, and clearly it was not like everyone else, that was really special and why not also this lack of communication of how to express what our heart really feel what we see reflected in Klaus, and never communicate their discontent and their problems trying to adapt to a new peer group, which is always difficult and more so in a foreign country and with a very different kind of language, and this added to the mock contast their language, German. As close to tell what was happening and annoying, is when every night crying and taking out what he could not say. And as he take the drastic decision to  wanting to do not  communicate in English anymore.

On the other hand we see the loneliness expressed in different ways in the three ministories, such as the girl was very lonely and that throughout her story never names a friend or anything like that, she was not going to school, she was a  very introverted girl, took refuge in the solitude of his thoughts which were his only company. For instance  the man in the history of Dingo, also had a solitary life, their days were passing one after another, without anything different, without any emotion apart from  work with animals , leading and protecting the cattle, repairing the fence.Until that dingo little pup  of meat to his life, until that little pup of dingo came to his life, from that moment he knew the love and friendship, the man acquired a preocupation, he had to look for Lucky, but he won the major price with his pet . In the story "The German boy" we see loneliness in Klaus, because at first he was all alone coming from a different country, they saw as a kind of freak, which changes slightly with time, but what finally decided to dive even further in his solitude. The narrator of this book is set much at this point of loneliness when he says "She looks desolate and has the same expression on her face as Klaus had, as if she is a place Where She Does Not Belong" which to a lesser extent the perhaps, at that time also it is affecting as he feels that does not belong to this place much as before, to that office that is about to crumble.

Another point that we see in the three stories and  always exists  in our lives is love, many things are done for  love ,  good and bad. In these short stories are seen in different ways.
Daughter's love Father in "Thucydides" which is broken and disappointed by what she knew, because what her father was doing, having a younger hide lover, being disloyal with his wife and so on, that girl collapsed, that was to much information for her, then she fell in something like depression a deep sadness, that changed her point of view and her life ,  the pure love of man towards his Dingo, Lucky, here are friendly furthermore a high sense their souls connected of loyalty, friendship grown up with the every day and every night. Love  in "The German boy" is the  love of family, and how hard he has worked for it to go ahead after his father committed suicide.

Each of the stories  had something that made him special, contained facts that many times we see it in real life, however come from a far away country.Such as mitched class, the infidelity of couples, the loss of a pet or a good friend, the fear of starting over, the fear of failure, fear of not being accepted,  remind people we don`t see  long ago etc.
We see in this big world all have the same difficult problems, and that is within us as to cope as best as possible. Enjoying and exceeding the steps gives us life. In this way, and we got through  the difficulties, being stronger and get better people.

"What do you think of that?" Claud asked, "Do you appreciate what we have done for you? It is for free. Mr Boggis couldn't image that the precious table had already turned out to be a pile at rubbish. He couldn't believe his eyes. He felt the surrounding was all becomming dark and the whole body  was wrapped in a hard frost, first began to sweat and then his heartbeats were different. Mr Boggis thought and still couldn`t understand This trio of peasants are so ignorant ! How they could do this to me? for God's sake '.
`My hidden treasure, my fame, The Boggis Commode! ... All went to the dust or rather be burned as firewood ` He jumped up to Rummin ,caught his collar rudely ,as the eyes staring at Rummin, he could not say anything ,a moment later,he said with all  his strength:” how….. could … you … deal … with … it…. without … my …. permission … it … is … mine ….”

Rummis watched with greedy eyes, with that money could continue his business of pigs, and  reach for  buy a few ..
Boggis not even take out his wallet, could not find it .. found only ten pounds in his pocket ...
my good friend I have only this for now,I  promise to come tomorrow morning, I promise,"said Mr Boggis with a tight little smile ...

`A deal is a deal or not my very good friend, Well I don`t want annoying more, it has been quite enough time that I took up this Sunday, you have better things to do in this field. So until then , gentlemen, bye! Said Mr Boggis

He was so greedy and lazy that he  preferred that the three farmers  cut off  the hard mahogany..
and
easily remove the 50 diamonds, he preferred the money that the fame of have found a strange rare and unique furniture.
When he pulled a cigarette from his pocket and smoke and with a whiskey  he toast  alone , soo great Sunday it had.
A few hours after , when he began gently taking each of the legs, he realized that there was no
any diamonds,  there was no signal at all ,  these had already been removed by Claude...

It is a theme for all the power balance, family and work, effectively fulfill our duties and daily responsibilities while sharing quality time with our family. I think that few families can do two things at once and well done. Unless we are super heroes!
I find this to be very interesting because work-family balance may very well have a different meaning to everyone, however it seems that everyone wants it.

Since I have memory, my parents worked full-time, came up tired and
grouch  at that hour, I was already asleep . I was raised with my grandmother, like many other children. Now that I'm  adult , I feel that I was really missing not having my parents by my side, often need from them, not with standing that my grandmother did the best he could with me and my sister,  five years older than me.

I would love that to get to school, my mom had been  rich early and asked me how was your day?
I heard that the first two years of life are critical to create attachment between mother and child, which makes me a lot of sense, are those first days when the baby needs care, protection and love of the mother, which affects in the rest of his life.
In my point of view is that it affects the children do not communicate with their parents, their feelings, joys and sorrows.
the world is going too fast, the hours are few.
The way each individual chooses to balance work and family life will differ from person to person; however the importance of doing so is the same for everyone.  When you feel that you are giving the right amount of time and energy to your work, individual and family life, then you have achieved a good balance. To be able to balance work life and home life, we must distinguish which is more important.
As Gail happened the lost of a seven-week-old baby suffered from pelvic inflammation, and   took the decision had a hysterectomy, all this happened because  she wasn't cautious with her  pregnancy , and took the shocking decision, she priority the work until the family.

"Time is fleeting, memories are priceless, choose life over work any chance you get. As long as you get your work done"
